On September 9, there will be auditions for the fifth Miss Health Ghana competition, which aims to equip young health workers with the tools they need to lead programs to protect lives and encourage healthy living.

Miss Health Ghana will hold auditions on September 9

The main event for this year's pageant will take place on November 25 at the Accra City Hotel, according to Miss Gladys Akyere Rockson, Chief Executive Officer of Lamrock Agency, who spoke at the launch of this year's edition at Carbon AV Office, Dworzulu.

The organizers will select 20 deserving women, groom them for three months, and then, following a series of tasks, one of them will be chosen as Miss Health Ghana.

With this year's theme concentrating on reproductive health, Miss Gladys Akyere and her organization plan to distribute 10,000 menstrual cups to women.

"When we give one cup to a girl, we are saving her 1,200 for buying a pad for five years," she added. Because they are reusable, menstrual cups cost 100 Ghanaian cedis, but we can recycle them for five years.

She claimed that the prize for the winner was extremely expensive because it included travel to Dubai and other locations as well as the purchase of an official car for official purposes.

She urged businesses to support the initiative. She stated, "You need money to run these kinds of projects, and I really want Ministry of Health to work with us to run it."

Speaking on the difficulties with Miss Health Ghana, Miss Gladys Akyere claimed that the queens' dissatisfaction stems from their busy schedules and lack of funding for the programme.
