Residents of Manso Mpraniase have expressed sincere gratitude to a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), Rising Hope Foundation for the kind gesture extended to the needy and people with disability in the community on Thursday, May 6, 2021.

The foundation whose central focus is to help deprived communities, disabled people and the poor donated items such as, sanitary pads, clothes, shoes, sandals, bags and also made sure to register young people with disability who have been abandoned in the community to start school to shapen their future in order not to feel rejected in future.

The Founder of Rising Hope Foundation, Mrs Deborah Anane Agyei told Soireenews that supporting the disadvantaged is indispensable hence her organization’s role to define lives and awaken potentials in the lives of the physically challenged, a way to quench their loneliness and make them feel part of the society and the country as a whole.

“We are here to support the needy and to put smiles on the faces of the physically challenged also,” she told.

“I am a person with a disability and could have ended on the street but because of education through the support of parents, I am empowered. I met a friend whose relative is a Person with a Disability so we decided to help others who are distant to give them hope that someone cares.

“We are here with clothes, food, shoes and also make sure to register children with disabilities for school so they can build their future and won’t feel rejected.”

She revealed that the Foundation has been petitioned by the community on their water, sanitation and health challenges and will do their best to settle on one to ease the life of inhabitants.
