Some members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) known as Concerned NPP Members of Mim in the Asunafo North Municipal of Ahafo Region have made a passionate appeal to President Nana Akufo Addo to maintain the hard-working  Municipal Chief Executive, Honourable Yaw Osei Boahen.

According to them, his hard work has ended him to be appointed as Dean of Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executive in Ahafo Region (MMDCEs).

In 2018, the National Annual Performance Contract between MMDCEs and the Co-ordinating Directors adjudged him 7th and 1st respectively in the then Brong Ahafo Region and has since brought a lot of development to the Municipal and unity among party members.

Amankwah Sandy, Chairman of Concerned NPP Members of Mim at a press conference at Mim begged Nana Akufo Addo to re-appoint Honourable Yaw Osei Boahen for next four years.

"Our plea is for Nana Addo to maintain the MCE. He has played a key role in in the transformation of our Municipal and we expect the president to give him another term to fulfil his mandate," he said.

"In fact, we are not happy about the rumours in town regarding a replacement of the MCE. He is a team player and has collaborated with the Member of Parliament to progress this vicinity," he added.

Some members of the Party who were at the press conference told Soireenews that Honorable Yaw Osei Boahen has begun lots of developmental projects including Mim town roads, Mim Poly Clinic School projects in the area and must be maintained to finish them.

"Osei Boahen has brought about developmental projects to Asunafo North Municipal and his exit will affect them a lot. He was key in Nana Addo's victory in the presidential elections over candidate John Mahama. He must be maintained to keep serving us," residents revealed.
