Kwatre Adentia: Family of deceased suspects lynching on brother   

The family of Kwaku Korang, the 42-year-old mentally deranged man who was found dead after allegedly butchering his mother has rejected claims by the Assemblymember for the area saying, he fell and died in an attempt to escape.

They believe the deceased was lynched by an angry mob in the town after he inflicted the cutlass wounds on his mother.

Kwaku Korang on Monday, May 17, 2021, was reported to have wounded her mother’s sister severally with a cutlass despite an unprovoked action by Abena Damoah, a 93-year-old woman.

Speaking to one of her sisters upon a visit to the family house, they are calling on the police to investigate the circumstances that led to his death.

She told Soireenews whiles crying that information circulating that her brother fell and died at the scene are false as stones and sticks at the crime scene suggests he was lynched.

Speaking to Abena Damoah, the victim disclosed that on that fateful day after his son had come to her house threatening to kill someone, he left the scene for the farm only to return and acting strange.

She told that after a short confrontation with him, he started inflicting the cutlass wounds on her under no provocation.
