Two male children (names withheld) have met their untimely death at a farming community in the Tain District of the Bono Region.

According to report, the two young boys whose ages were identified as 6 and 5 were found dead after they reportedly drowned in a deep dam in the Nsuhunu community.

Speaking in an interview with an Accra-based Kasapa FM being monitored by Soireenews on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, the father of the deceased children, Mr Paul said, the children were at a farm with their Auntie Alice, but unknowingly drew closer to the dam which resulted in their untimely death.

Meanwhile, the Unit Committee Secretary of Nsuhunu, Mr Charles Nyarko indicated that investigations have commenced into the incident to get the true fact of the cause of the incident

He, therefore, cautioned parents to be vigilant on their children to prevent future occurrences.
