The Chiefs and Residents of Kwae Community in Kwaebibirim Municipality in the Eastern Region, has registered their displeasure over the lack of social amenities and low pace of development in the area.

The Chief of Kwae, Osabarima Osei Yaw Anaafi II, disclosed to the media the current state of the community.
  
He said, education is the key to development, Ghana Library Board has initiated moves to construct modern Libraries to enhance education.

He lamented on lack of social amenities in the community and pleaded with the central government to intervene.
  
He mentioned school buildings in bad condition, the CHPS Compound serving the entire community with over 7000 population is in a deplorable state, no durbar centre for activities.

The Chief, Osabarima Osei Yaw Anaafi ii, urged the Ghana Palm Oil Limited, the only company in the area to employ the youth in the area as permanent staff and also award scholarships to the tertiary students in the community as part of their Cooperate Social Responsibility.
  
Speaking to the Development Chief (Nkosuohen) of the Area, Nana Agyeman Opambour I, assured to bring down foreign investors to develop the KWAE Community.

He cited, the construction of a Police station and a Bio Gas station to employ the teeming youths to reduce unemployment the in the area.

Also, Newmont Mining Company is taking the initiative to work on the rich minerals resources in the area to enhance developmental growth.
He, therefore, urged the NPP Government led by President Nana Akufo Addo to pay much attention to the area in distributing the national cake fairly.
