At a burial service held at the Tesano Police Depot in Accra, mourners were seen clad in black as a "sober spectacle." Grief swept through the mourners as they filed past the mortal remains of the late wife of Mr Boakye.

THE SCORES of people, on September 23, joined Mr. Boakye to lay his late wife, to rest.

At a burial service held at the Tesano Police Depot in Accra, mourners were seen clad in black as a "sober spectacle." Grief swept through the mourners as they filed past the mortal remains of the late wife of Mr Boakye.

The were various song ministrations during the service and several dirges as well.
Some high-profile personalities who attended the burial service included former Chief of Staff, who is seeking to be selected as the running mate of the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Julius Debrah and some of the members of the Julius Debrah Fun Club. 

Mr. Boakye is one of the founders of Honourable Juluis Debra Fun Club. 
Following this development, the leadership of Hon. Juluis Debra Fun Club in a press statement expressed its sincere condolences to Mr. Boakye who sadly lost his wife couple of months ago.
