The Chief of Pramso who doubles as Otumfuo Brempong, Nana Gyampo-tua II has revealed that the late Paul Osei aka Chingy, the Jachie Pramso (JAPASS) who met his untimely death in an uncompleted building at Pramso was found with marijuana, Cigarettes and Matches.

The demise of the final year student of the school was confirmed to the Chief by his Kontihene.

Nana Gyampo-tua II lamented on the disordered position of students in the school and how it is affecting the innocent ones.

He alleged that Chingy died from smoking Indian hemp and has called for patience as the doctors through the postmortem determine the cause of death.

"My Kontibehe called and informed me of the boy’s demise,” Nana said.

“When they arrived, there was weed, cigarettes and matches with him before his body was conveyed to the hospital. I was later told that he was a student of JAPASS. The deceased father on hearing the news visted my sub-chief and was told that the boy died as a result of smoking Indian hemp.

“The father denied knowing that his son smoked weed yet his brother confirmed that he was aware of Chingy’s smoking habit.”

Nana Gyampo-tua II advised that one person who can end the rising rate of indiscipline on the campus of JAPASS is Mr Francis Donkor, the Headmaster who was interdicted by the Ghana Education Service for lashing a final year student who gave her jacket to a male colleague to avoid being penalized.

Nana although condemned the actions of the headmaster on the student but believes his disciplinary record is extreme to end the untidiness.

He further called on the Ashanti Regional Minister, Honorable Simon Osei Mensah and the Education Minister, Yaw Osei Adutwum to hastily make available a headmaster to control situations.
