She has revealed that, in contrast to popular belief, she has never used narcotics or smoked marijuana.

She claims that many people have incorrectly assessed her based on how she looks when it is very different from who she actually is.

The Shush singer recently revealed she doesn't drink any alcohol other than wine during Kwaku Manu's Aggressive Interview.

I've never smoked a cigarette or used strong drugs. People close to me may attest to the fact that the only thing I love is wine. She declared, "I've never smoked in my life.

The 2018 MTN Hitmaker winner has previously addressed reports that she is a drug abuser.

She admitted to a ferocious battle with depression to Giovani Caleb on 3FM last year, which ultimately resulted in her mental breakdown and a two-week imprisonment.

OV continued by claiming that things became worse for her after she inadvertently took a pharmaceutical overdose that rendered her paralyzed for two weeks and necessitated her taking a break from the music industry while she recovered.

Her absence, though, was explained away by a drug problem, which she later denied in the interview.

When OV won the MTN Music Reality Show in 2018, her career in music officially began.

Following her victory, she was quickly signed onto the label thanks to the Burniton Music Group's interest in her talent and stage presence.

Want Me, her first single, which featured Stonebwoy, a reggae dancehall legend, became an instant hit.

However, OV's collaboration with Stonebwoy was brief, which raised concerns when it became public that she and her label partner Kelvyn Boy were leaving the music company about a year into their deal.

OV urged the media to learn the real reason behind leaving Stonebwoy's record label during her interview with Kwaku Manu.
