‘Taste of Ghana 4.0’ festival was very tasty

People from all walks of life came together to experience Ghana in one place for the free event, which was organized by the Ghana Investment Promotion Center (GIPC) in collaboration with the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) and the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA).

Good music was playing, and there were merchants selling a variety of delectable Ghanaian delicacies, drinks, clothing, accessories, and artifacts.

Aside from that, there were events like the Larabanga Mosque, a museum-like atmosphere, a cookery competition, a fashion show, a concert, an art exhibition, a canopy walk, and a film.

As soon as you reach the festival grounds, you are welcomed by a stunning setup. Indeed, heightened security that day helped to ensure the safety of both guests and their belongings.

One of the events on the calendar for "December in GH" this year is the event with the topic "GH:The Africa Dream."

A few of the attendees Graphic Showbiz met with emphasized how happy they were to be a part of the event. Mr. Douglas Ofori, an American businessman, claims that when visiting Ghana with his family over the Christmas season, a buddy informed him about "Taste of Ghana."

"I was excited to visit Ghana, but I had no idea where to go for fun or what to do. However, after hearing about this event from a friend, I decided to try it with my family, and I'm pleased we did. We're enjoying ourselves," he remarked.

Mary Anane, a KNUST student, declared she wouldn't miss the event the following year for anything.

"I've played some of the games and gone on the canopy walk, and I'm having fun."The fact that I don't have enough money to go shopping is the only drawback. I've seen some really lovely gowns, purses, shoes, and ear rings, but I don't have any money.

I will have to give that agenda a pass”, she added.

A concert featuring some of Ghana's best artists served as the festival's high point. Their outstanding performances left the audience wanting more. The event drew large crowds.

Award-winning Dancehall act Shatta Wale, who was also the main attraction, rapper EL, music combo R2Bees, Fancy Gadam, Adina, Gasmilla, Vanilla, Kwesi Filla, Mawuli Music, Eno Barony, and Kofi Jamal were among the performers who took turns having a good time with the audience that evening.

Not only that, but attendees also enjoyed a fashion show with designs by artists like Adina Thembe, ZaQi, Kustom Looks Clothier, Selsam Couture, Doramp Fashion House, Brand Wear Ghana, and Thembi Republic.

The fourth-annual "Taste of Ghana" festival seeks to highlight the unique and genuine traditional richness of products made in Ghana. These products not only tell stories about Ghana's rich cultural heritage but also offer opportunities for business and investment to Ghanaians, Ghanaians living abroad, and people from all walks of life.
