The Central Regional Chief Imam Sariki Mohamed Masawajei has made passionately appealed to the youth in the Zongo communities to endeavor to make education a priority to improve their lives.
He said education is the key to national development and the surest way for them to become useful citizens, adding that, it would also help them to get a better job or employment.
Speaking in an interview with journalists, he said, with the successful rollout of the government's popular Free SHS policy, there should be no excuse for any Ghanaian child to be denied education at least up to the SHS level.
Therefore, it is an opportunity for the youth in zongos. 
He also admonished the youth across the nation to shun all forms of social vices such as Sakawa, weed-smoking, binge drinking as such behavior could deteriorate their lives.
