Inadequate computers at Bechem Presbyterian Senior High School in the Ahafo Region is impeding Information Technology studies according to the headmaster of the school, Mr Edwin Odame Amoah.

He made the comment at the just ended 55th session of the Brong Ahafo Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana held at Ayakomaso Peniel retreat centre in the Sunyani West Municipality of the Bono Region.

He observed that even though the school has registered about 1,340 final year students to write the 2021 West African Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), they do not have enough computers to aid the learning of IT.

“Due to this, students have to be transported to Sunyani Senior High School for computer practicals”.

Mr Odame indicated that his outfit has written several letters to the moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana for support but to no avail.

He has however appealed to the Brong Ahafo Presbytery as a matter of urgency to intervene.

Meanwhile, the immediate past chairperson of the Brong Ahafo Presbytery, Rev. Dr Williams Ofosu Addo assured the school of their support to harness education.
