Queen Mother of Penkwaase, Nana Adanse Bonnah is appealing to her subjects to support anything that will improve the quality of education in the area.

She made this appeal during a sod-cutting ceremony for the construction of an ultra-modern toilet facility at High Street Junior High School.

During the occasion, the queen mother called on the community to support the school financially.

She asserted that even though the Sunyani Municipal Assembly has done well, it cannot finance all the projects needed to improve various schools in the area.

The Headteacher of the School, Madam Agnes Mensa expressed delight in the initiative. She called on the contractor to finish the project on time as promised.

Benjamin Kofi Duku, Assembly Member for Penkwaase believes the project’s completion will go a long way to help teaching and learning as a place of convenience has been a major challenge to the school.
