I Fully Support JMs ‘Do Or Die’ Affair - NDC Chairman For Gomoa East declares
According to him, lessons have been learnt from the 2020 elections and that they will not repeat the mistakes committed during the previous election.

The NDC Chairman for Gomoa East District, in the Central Region, Dr Anthony Effisah has disclosed to the media in an interview that all the 275 constituency chairmen of the party have declared their 100℅ support to the Former president.
According to him, during the 2020 election, soldiers threatened his life at a gun point at Gomoa East collation center during the counting of the ballot paper yet because "am the chairman, I was boldly enough to ask the soldiers to kill me, because if I die today my soul will be happy I die for my party NDC."
Adding that " this happens when the NPP wanted to cheat and steal from NDC with the support from the soldiers and the police who were at the Gomoa East collation center at that time".
Chairman Effisah said told SoireeNews that the "do and die" statement of former President John Mahama is a bold decision though "we not will kill anyone but we deserve a free and fair counting at the polling station after the election, if not any one who will try to cheat them, they will also take action".
According to him, lessons have been learnt from 2020 elections and that they will not repeat the mistakes committed during the previous elections.
He said the same way they don’t intend to cheat during the election, they expect that they won’t be cheated.
The flagbearer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2020 election made this known when he spoke in an interview on Akina Radio.
He said “everything that happens you learn lessons from them. For us, we have learnt lessons from the 2020 elections. The elections will be won or lost at the polling station.
"So it will be a do or die affair at the polling station, I didn’t say all die be die, I said do or die. The right thing must be done. In 2024, the polling stations is where we will win the elections. We won’t wait and go to the Supreme Court.
"At Collation center and polling station, we will do everything to make sure the election is transparent, free and fair. We wouldn’t want to cheat NPP and we also don’t want anyone to cheat us.
The elections should be transparent so that the person the people of Ghana want to be their leader will be made their leader.
