The Ahafo Region will soon benefit from the Turkish Government in areas of Agriculture, health and education.

Turkish  Ambassador to Ghana, His Excellency Ms Ozlem Ergun posited that her office and counterparts will collaborate with Ahafo Region to support Skills Training Programs, Education and construction of Hospital Theaters and Doctors’ Bungalows.

Ms Ozlem made these known when Ahafo Region Minister, Honourable George Yaw Boakye with delegation paid a courtesy call on her.

 She further added that Ghana has vast opportunities in areas of agriculture, health, education, there is a need to explore these potentials. 

She also commended the Country for her political stability, strong democracy, and abundance of skilled young people, and that, these factors have made Ghana very attractive for investments from Turkey.

 

Honourable George Yaw Boakye congratulated High Excellency Ms Ozlem on her appointment as the new Ambassador to the Country.

 He commended the Turkish government for strengthened and sustained good relations between Ghana and Turkey over the years. 

Honourable Boakye urged for the enhancement of new economic cooperation between Turkey and the Ahafo Region for mutual benefit.
