HRH Saawa Yaalo Kwadaa I Praises Roads Minister Over Ghana Road Development

The Overlord of the Yoowa People of Ghana, His Royal Highness Saawa Yaalo Kwadaa I, has expressed his profound appreciation and commendation to the Minister for Roads and Highways, Hon. Kwame Governs Agbodza for his demonstrated dedication, commitment and tireless efforts towards improving Ghana’s road infrastructure.

Addressing journalists, His Royal Highness recognizes the immense responsibility entrusted to the Minister and appreciates the efforts being made to ensure that road projects across the country receive the necessary attention, supervision and coordination required to deliver durable and quality infrastructure to the Ghanaian people.

The Overlord particularly commended the Minister's emphasis on ensuring that road contractors execute their responsibilities diligently, adhere to approved standards, maintain quality workmanship and complete projects within agreed timelines.

According to him, such attention to accountability and value for money is important to the development of communities and the overall progress of the nation, adding that good roads are not merely physical infrastructure.

He pointed out that they are essential to connecting communities, facilitating the movement of people and goods, supporting agriculture and commerce, improving access to education and healthcare, and opening opportunities for economic development.

On behalf of the Yoowa Traditional Community and the people of Yoowa, HRH Saawa Yaalo Kwadaa I therefore wishes to commend the Hon. Minister for his service to Ghana and encourage him to continue his efforts to improve the country's road network.

His Royal Highness also expresses his appreciation to His Excellency the President of the Republic of Ghana for reposing confidence in the Hon. Minister and entrusting him with the responsibility of leading the Ministry of Roads and Highways.

The Overlord prays that the President will continue to provide the Minister with all the necessary support, resources and assistance to enable him to deliver good, durable and quality roads for the country.

His Royal Highness further called on road contractors, engineers, consultants and all stakeholders within the road sector to support the Ministry by executing their responsibilities with professionalism, integrity, diligence and commitment to quality.

The Yoowa Traditional Community believes that when public institutions, traditional authorities, contractors and citizens work together with a shared commitment to national development, Ghana can achieve infrastructure that will serve present and future generations.
