Government Working Hard For Adequate Water Supply To The People - CECILIA ABENA DAPAAH
According to the Minister, the government is implementing several water projects across the country which are at various stages .

The Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources Honorable Cecilia Abena Dapaah has said the government is not relenting in its efforts to provide adequate potable water to people across the country.
She said this in Parliament when answering a question by Honorable Kwame Twumasi Ampofo MP for Sene West. Honorable Ampofo wanted to know measures being taken by the Ministry to address the rationing of water in the country as there can be no life without water.
According to the Minister, the government is implementing several water projects across the country which are at various stages.
these include the Upper East Region Water Supply Expansion project which has been completed to be commissioned soon, the Tamale and Damango Water projects, the GAMA Sanitation and Water Project in Accra which has been completed, the Wenchi and Keta Water Supply projects for which contractors are yet to go on-site and the Yendi Water Supply project currently at the international bidding stage. Other projects are the Sekondi Takoradi Water Supply project, the Suntan I Water Supply project, and the Tekyiman Water Supply project.
