Government completes six projects at Koase SHS, two ongoing- Bono Minister discloses           

The Government of Ghana has completed six infrastructure projects at Koase Senior High School at Wenchi in the Bono Region two others are ongoing.

The Government of Ghana has completed six infrastructure projects at Koase Senior High School at Wenchi in the Bono Region two others are ongoing.


 The completed projects include Staff flat, assembly hall, dining hall and girls’ dormitory, library, and administration block. The ongoing classroom science block and 700 capacity boys dormitory is about 70% and 90% complete respectively. 


The Regional Minister, Justina Owusu Banahene addressing the media after she inspected the project when she visited the area noted that the NPP government was poised for action as far as free SHS is concerned and is committed to improving education across the country. 


The Minister was impressed with the progress of work done so far and was optimistic that the project would go a long way to motivate the entire school body to achieve its goals. 


Honorable Banahene believes the Koase SHS could be turned into a tertiary institution shortly.


 She also commended the chiefs of Wenchi for making the land available for the said projects.
 She advised teachers to nurture students in the best way possible to ensure good morals are instilled in them.


The headmistress, Madam Nancy Arthur expressed to the government the massive infrastructure development in the school. 
This she said would strengthen and improve teaching and learning. 


Chief of Koase, Nana Owusu Ansah Sasraku Busseah was happy as the community would benefit from the school. 


He pledged his community’s support in maintaining the facilities. 
This he added could be achieved through providing security for the school.
