The authorities of Goka Water and Sanitation Board has incurred the wrath of the residents  leaving within Goka, a suburb of Jaman North District of the Bono Region for not delivering the takes and works instructed onto their hands.
The residents registered their displeasure against the authorities of Goka water and sanitation board for exhibiting poor and laziness towards their assigned work.
Some residents during an interaction with the media stated that Goka community has been experiencing water shortage for years now as a result of what they described as poor leadership of the Goka water board. 
They stressed that the manager in charge of the water and sanitation board at Goka has left the office for some months now while the accountant to the board has also left office to undertake her private businesses making it difficult for them to pay their bills and make complaints when the need arises.
They alleged that due to the poor performance of the leadership of the water and sanitation board, extension and expansion of water have become a major problem making it difficult for a lot to get easy access to water. 
They have pleaded with the necessary authorities to appoint serious people to spearhead the board to ensure the free flow of water to facilitate life. 
Reacting to the above claims,  the Board Chairman of Goka Water and Sanitation, who is also the  acting Krontihene for Goka stool lands, Nana Vasco Obroni, stated that the concerns being raised by some residents of Goka are true. 
He indicated the cause of water crises to the unstable electricity power at Goka which has heavily affected one of the transformers at their pump house making it difficult to experience free flow of water.
He attributed the causes of water crises to the government's inability to pay for the free distribution of water during the COVID-19 19 pandemic season hence making it difficult to run the system effectively in ensuring free flow of water.
