Ghanaians Would Never Accept E -Levy - Oti Bless tells Government.

The Honorable Member of Parliament for Nkwanta North in the Oti Region, Honourable. John Oti Bless has urged the government to go back to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for financial support due to the economic challenges the country is experiencing rather than force the introduction of E - Levy.

The Member of Parliament stated that there is nothing wrong with Ghana returning to the IMF to borrow money. 
 In an engagement with the Member of Parliament, Hon. Oti Bless on KE Fm which was monitored by Soireenews as he comments on the E-levy proposal in the 2022 budget statement.

He said,  the economic hardship being encountered by  Ghanaian's since the NPP Nana Addo and Dr. Bawumia government took over from NDC John Dramani Mahama is unbearable.

He added that the Minority MPs will continue to reject the E-levy proposal despite the decision by the Government to reduce the initial rate of 1.75 percent to 1.5 percent.

" the government has failed on the promises he made to Ghanaians, Hon Oti Bless lamented".

Meanwhile, Soireenews in an interview with some residents in Obuasi says, their hardship would double if" E- Levy is being introduced.

Some say their works are unstable hence the government should rather think about employing the vacant youth in the country rather than introduce the Electronic Levy.
