Ghanaians Should Say "NO" To The 3rd Coming Of JDM—Central Tongu NPP PC Jabs Mahama

Parliamentary Candidate for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Central Tongu Constituency of the Volta Region, Mr Godwin Ayikpa Casola, has stated that as we near the December 2024 general election, Ghanaian eligible voters should ensure that they have good plans to vote against the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), former President John Dramani Mahama.

In a news item captured by Soireenews.com, Mr Casola stressed that Ghanaians should say "NO" to the 3rd coming of JDM because he has nothing to offer to them when elected President again.

In 2012, according to NPP PC, former Dramani Mahama said, "I will put money in your pockets."

But in 2016, when he ate all the flesh of the meat leaving only the bones, he said " I am not a magician to put money in your pockets."

In 2012, he said, "I will create jobs for the youth". But in 2016 after creating the Unemployed Graduate Association, he told the youth they lack employment skills so they should cut grasses or break stones to make a living!

In 2016, he vowed to cancel trainees' allowance even if it would cost him votes!

 However, in 2020, because he was seeking power, he told trainees this: I will pay trainees' allowance! Just 4 years later, Mahama now says trainees should give him time to honeymoon before listening to their demands! 

Remember he outlawed OKADA in 2016! But during the 2020 campaign when he was in desperate search for power, he said he would legalize Okada to create jobs!

This time he says no government can collapse Okada's business.

Not long ago, he said Article 71 which is about ex-gratia is an entrenched Provision so no government can cancel ex-gratia.  In 2023 because he desperately wants power, he promises to cancel ex-gratia. He is just too populist!

 From 2014 to 2016 as a president, he said the only way the government can get revenue is through taxation so he taxed almost everything including condoms and cutlasses! Now he tells Ghanaians he will reduce taxes.

In his last State of the Nation address in Parliament, he admitted responsibility for the banking crisis! After someone has cleared the mess, he says he will restore the licenses of collapsed banks!

In 2015, his Galamsey task force arrested many illegal miners! He now promises to give amnesty to jailed galamseyers.

In 2016, he declared: Free SHS is a 419 promise which can never happen in Ghana but now he claims he started it.

Under his presidency when things were tough for Ghanaians, especially during Dumsor and citizens were complaining,  he told them Yenti Obiaaa and advised us to stop charging our phones because of Dumsor. 

Now he says he will listen to Ghanaians when given the power. 

In 2020, he said Elmina Fishing Harbour's promise was Sakawa's promise. This time because the project has been finished and commissioned by Nana Addo, he says he started it.

These and many more contradictions and lack of seriousness make Former President Mahama the scariest alternative Ghanaians must not entertain.
