Honorable Justina Owusu Banahene, Bono Regional Minister, has urged Ghanaians to fully support the green Ghana initiative by planting more trees.

According to her, the Bono regional Coordinating council and forestry divisions would require everyone's help to plant 1.2 million trees in the Bono region.

She also urged Ghanaians to change their construction styles, particularly their floor tiling.
It is one of the primary causes of flooding in the United States, according to her.

Mr. Isaac Noble Esshun praised the government for taking such a bold step. According to him, trees provide a variety of purposes for humans.

The Division, according to the Regional Manager, will undoubtedly strive hard to meet the national target.
