Easing of Covid-19 restrictions: Let's organize national thanksgiving to appreciate God before His wrath hunt us

The Executive Director, Synagogè Council of Churches and Pastors Association (SYCCPA), Very Rev Emmanuel Twumasi-Ankrah has called on the nation on the need for a National Day of Thanksgiving in appreciation to God for His role in subsiding the threat of The COVID in Ghana.

According to him, the president’s decision to involve the heads of churches and the church nationwide, at the inception of the disease was pragmatic.

To him, the prayer of the church during the period cannot be undermined as a key factor in the state of the nation regarding the COVID.

As a result, there’s a need to organize the nation in appreciation to God for His help in the COVID crisis.

God deserves and demands this gratitude.

He revealed this to the media in a part of the Synagogue Council of Churches and Pastors Association's preparation to organize a thanksgiving service program.

He has called on all believers in the LORD especially, President Nana Akufo-Addo, the church councils, and Aglo Ghana to organize themselves nationwide and across the regions for a special day of thanksgiving.
