In all, over 300 New SHS Entrants have benefited from the duly launched scholarship scheme for needy but brilliant students in Jomoro.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Jomoro in the Western region, Honorable Dorcas Toffey specially thanked all the dignitaries who graced the program especially, Honorable Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah, Honorable Abdul-Rashid Pelpuo, Honorable Abdul-Salam Adams, Honorable James Gyakye Quayson, our regional executives, Municipal Director of Education, Chiefs and Queen mothers in Jomoro, Headmasters, and Headmistresses of Senior High Schools in Nzema, and Heads of Departments.
However, she wants to thank everyone who made time out of their busy schedules to make the program a success.
"I pray this would make the intended impact in the lives of the students who have benefited from the initiative and I hope to expand the program next year", she added.
The MPs encouraged all beneficiaries, especially females present at the occasion that they can do more than Honorable Dorcas.
