Ankaful Prisons is Challenge with Health Care Delivery Services.

The Chaplain of the Ankaful Prison Complex of the Central Region, Rev. Superintendent Joseph Adobaw-Ogoe has appealed to benevolent organizations and individuals to assist them with the healthcare needs of the prisoners.

He said although there is an infirmary that caters for the healthcare needs of prison officials and inmates but lacks basic drugs and equipment to deliver their responsible services effectively.

Nonetheless, vehicles to transport sick prisoners to nearby hospitals such as Cape Coast Teaching Hospital have become a hurdle to break hence calling for help to provide better health care services to the inmates.

He made the call when Mount Carmel Prayer Center at Elmina presented assorted edibles items such as packed foods, drinks pastries, and packs of mineral water worth Gh¢50.000.00 cedis to Ankaful Prison Complex, Maximum Prison, and Communicable Disease Prisons.

Speaking with the media, the Patron of the Mount Carmel Prayer Center, Rev.
