Chiana-Paga NDC Chair Announces Re-Election Bid; Highlights Key Achievements And Track Record

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Chairman for the Chiana-Paga Constituency in the Upper East Region, Mr Adiali B. Dickson Ayagitam, has officially announced his re-election bid.

The NDC top shot called on delegates to vote massively to retain him in office so he can continue restructuring and strategizing for the party within the Constituency.

According to Mr. Mr Adiali, his decision to run for a second term as Constituency Chairman came after broad consultations with Party elders, executives, and party faithfuls.

He stressed that as a hardworking, disciplined, and dedicated member of the party, he remains committed to strengthening its base and advancing collective interests.

"In my first term, we worked together to make the party more visible, united, and formidable at the grassroots level," Mr. Adiali said.

"During this period, we achieved an overwhelming victory in the 2024 elections, ensured transparency and the fair distribution of opportunities, enforced accountability, and intensified grassroots mobilization," he disclosed.

He reaffirmed his approach to governance, stating: "My leadership philosophy is simple: negotiation over confrontation, dialogue over division, and patience and strategy over impulse.

"I am calm during difficult moments, but firm and strategic in pursuing our Party's objectives. I believe every disagreement can be resolved through mutual respect and unity. My service has been rendered with integrity and selflessness, entirely devoid of personal interest," he explained.

As the sitting Chairman, the aspiring Chairman also congratulated all branch executives and thanked them sincerely for their cooperation during his tenure.

"I also wish all comrades who are aspiring for various positions the best of luck in the upcoming elections," he added.

Mr. Mr Adiali urged all aspirants to conduct their campaigns peacefully, avoiding name-calling, insults, and foul language.

"We are one family, and our greatest political opponent is the elephant," he reminded them.

He concluded by humbly seeking the mandate of the delegates and party faithfuls to lead them into the next chapter, aiming to build a stronger, more visible, and election-winning NDC in Chiana-Paga.

He expressed strong confidence that, together, they will move both the constituency and the NDC forward.
