The President of Breman Traditional Council and Central Regional House Of Chiefs, Odeefour Amoakwa Boadu VIII has urged Ghanaians to take the COVID-19 vaccine in order to be safe from the deadly pandemic.

According to Odeefour Amoakwa Boadu VIII, covid-19 has affected lives and ended investments but he is hopeful that life will soon be restored. The Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District has recorded a few cases of covid-19 yet there has been no death chronicled.

He, therefore, donated some medical consumable items such as medicines, plaster, grave clothes and many more to the health directorate of the district to augment their work making known that the resources were bought with the help of some philanthropists.

Odeefour continued that, some of the district's deplorable roads have been awarded to a contractor especially Agona Swedru to Breman Asikuma and Breman Asikuma to Ayinabrem. He assured that a change will soon be seen.

The Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District Health Director at the celebration of the Akwasidae festival in Breman Asikuma chief palace thanked Odeefour Amoakwa Boadu VIII and advised the general public to adhere to the COVID-19 Protocols.

He indicated that the district has recorded 53 cases, 50 have been treated. The other three he said are under medication at Our Lady Of Grace Hospital in Breman Asikuma.
