Berekum East Member of Parliament Commissions Oforikrom CHPS Compound.

The Member of Parliament for Berekum East Constituency of the Bono Region Honourable Nelsson Kyeremeh has commissioned a refurbished CHPS compound at Oforikrom in the Berekum East Municipal.

The CHPS compound which was constructed by the former Berekum East Municipal Chief Executive, Honourable Opoku Boakye Yiadom was abandoned but was later refurbished by the Member of Parliament to enable the people living in the area to have access to health care whenever necessary.

Commissioning the CHPS compound, the Member of Parliament assured the people to provide all the necessary equipment if the need arise and ensure the facility will run as expected.

The Chief of Oforikrom, Nana Ofori Mensah II thanked the Member of Parliament for his kind gesture to complete and hand over the CHPS compound to the people in the community for accessibility.

The Former Municipal Chief Executive, Honourable Opoku Boakye Yiadom also commended the Member of Parliament for his attempt to finish the project at long last after leaving the project to riot but thanked Honourable Nelson Kyeremeh for such a great job to support the people of Oforikrom to complete the CHPS compound for use and believe this health facility will not only benefit the people in the community only but other communities around.
