The palace, according to Nana Baffuor will be constructed on a 15-acre land and will be completed in the space of a year. It will serve as the Administrative headquarters and house numerous events and guests who visit Pakyi No.2.

Nana Baffuor Agyei told Soireenews that the community lack a place of meeting and as the leader, it is his responsibility to see to it that that challenge is resolved to raise the standard.

He asserted that the putting up of the structure will empower progress in the town therefore all hands are on deck to help make the building a possibility.

“Building this edifice will affect development in this vicinity for the youth. We’ll need all to come and support us with materials like cement, stones, sand and others,” Nana told.

Nana Baffuor reminded that building a cherished palace in the township will demand better roads to harmonize his vision therefore government must come to their aid and restore their deplorable road.

He commended the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo government for the Police Station, court and market built for the community yet he made known that “Road challenge is not a new thing here.”

“The road was given to a contractor three years ago. Works began but all of a sudden, the contractor left without a reason. This area is key when it comes to deciding Ghana’s next government hence our plead towards the government to help us.

Baffour Kofi Agyei called on residents of Pakyi No.2 staying far and near to aid the building of the Palace.

The Assembly Man for Pakyi No. 2, Hon. Alex Donkor enlarged that insecurity used to be a concern in the community yet since his election as a member, he has helped to condense the menace but sees there is still more work to do.

He told that the community aside from the Police Station built by the government is embarking on another which will soon be completed. He spoke that more officers will be required from the government to fill the new office and that could help reinforce security at Pakyi No.2.
