North Dayi MP, Joycelyn Tetteh Donates GH¢ 59,0 00.00 Towards The Establishment Of A Learning Resource Center At Vakpo SHS

DURING the climax of Student Representative Council ( SRC) Week Celebrations at Vakpo Senior High School's Assembly Hall, the hardworking and empowerment oriented Member of Parliament (MP) for North Dayi Constituency, Honourable Joycelyn Tetteh on Saturday May 11, 2024 made a cash donation of Fifty Nine Thousand Ghana Cedis ( GH¢ 59,000.00) to the management of the school to help establish a learning resource center in the school.
The centre will have 10 HP Elite Computers, Air Conditioners etc. and will invariably help these students have access to the necessary needed materials that they would use in their training and preparations for their WASSCE examinations.
During the programme, the Honourable Joycelyn cautioned the students against lifestyles that won't improve learning and studies.
She has called on the students and the staff of the school to put much efforts into serious learning and teaching respectively.
The student leadership as well as the headmaster appreciated the MP for North Dayi Constituency for her motherly love, support, investments and unrepentant interest in improving education in the locality.
They have promised to make judicial use of the money so that the visions and dreams of the centre will see the light of day.
Honorable Joycelyn has laid emphasis on the JM NDC Educational Policies that will help her perform extraordinary in the school when voted for come December 7.
She has spoken extensively on how Nana Addo Bawumia government has destroyed the education sector and parents are now bearing the huge costs yet they always claim that they are implementing Free SHS Education policy system in Ghana."
The euphoric applause from the students spoke much of the trust and believe these students repose in the MP and former PresidentH.E John Dramani Mahama .
