Afram Plains North MP Donates to Private School Teachers In Donkorkrom

Member of Parliament (MP) for Afram Plains North Constituency in the Eastern Region, Honourable Betty Nana Afua Krosbi Mensah, believes that the items donated will ameliorate the plight of private school teachers who are still facing financial challenges due to the wake of the world novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Member of Parliament (MP) for Afram Plains North Constituency in the Eastern Region, Honourable Betty Nana Afua Krosbi Mensah has donated loads of items to the private school teachers in Donkorkrom within the constituency.

The items donated by the female legislator of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) includes 30 bags of Royal Aroma Rice, 10 boxes of oil, 4 boxes of sanitisers and an amount of GH¢3,000 to the private school teachers in the constituency.

The initiative, according to the MP, was to ameliorate the plight of private school teachers who are still facing financial challenges due to the wake of the world novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Speaking in an interview with Soireenews Mrs Mensah admonished all private school teachers as well as the youths not to allow politics to divide them.

"We may be divided prior to elections but we must all come together and fight for the betterment of our beloved constituency after elections," the MP urged the constituents.

The MP used the opportunity to express her heartfelt appreciation to all those who helped in her re-election to serve as the MP for the second term and also thanked her army of soldiers and NDC executives for securing her a resounding victory.

He disclosed that he has initiated apprenticeship programmes for the youth in the area as the measures to help promote youth participation in the development of the constituency.

The MP noted that She, together with her team had a workshop programme for all private school teachers in the district to educate them on the history of Afram Plains, the role of the youth in the development of the district and the way forward.
