The rampant water problem in Atebubu Amantin for years now is getting an intervention.

A group of Turkish water construction partners together with a consultant and Ghana water company limited - B/A representatives including a  geologist were led by the Immediate Member of Parliament for the constituency, Honourable Kofi Amoakohene to visit the  Pru water site at Prang where a larger quantum of water is expected at the end of the project to serve over millions of households for a  number of years on Yeji- Kumasi stretch road, to do a consolidation pitch inspection at the site with their GPS map and markings.

The team will do another inspection on the  Atebubu-Kumfia-Fakwasi water site by early next week.

The project is an expected dam drill with an appropriate circumference range.

It could be recalled early last year that, the contractors were in Atebubu Amantin before the 2020 elections to kick start negotiations with the leadership of the beneficiaries.

The five(5) towns comprising the far East of Bono East Region could get direct advantage of this project.

Representatives from Ghana Water Company Limited, BA had received a prior notice on the said project from the contractors and consultants with CAL Bank Ghana as the financier awaiting Government of Ghana approval.

A consideration to have a large stretch of land at both sites for the project was extensively discussed.

The roadmap to having the Atebubu Amantin water crisis resolved is on track.
