Avoid Examination Malpractices--Dormaa West  DCE Urges BECE Candidates
The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Dormaa West District, Honorable Francis Kwadwo Oppong together with members of the District Education Oversight Committee (DEOC) on Monday October 17, 2022 visited the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) center in the district to inspect the situation of the center and encourage the candidates. 

Thirty-Two (32) Schools registered for the BECE in the district with Seven Hundred and forty-Two (742) candidates registered to sit for the examination in the district.

The DCE and the District Director of Education (DDE), Mr. Kwadwo Bofah, took turns to encourage the pupils at the Centre.

 They also advised the candidates to shun fear and be hopeful about the results.
 The DCE went on to caution candidates against all forms of examination malpractices and to stick to what they knew and could remember.

 He assured them of a better future, considering the implementation of the Free Senior High School policy and Free Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).

The DDE also advised the invigilators to desist from instilling fear and panic into the candidates.
