Safety advocacy National Safety Campaign (NASACA) has launched blistering at the police officers for firing guns at the students of the Kumasi Islamic Senior High School (SHS) in the Ashanti Region.

The group also touched on the report of seizure of handset and detention of journalist by the police officers when they attended to report on Kumasi Islamic SHS protest against pedestrian fatalities within the school.

In a statement copied to Soireenews.com on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, the President of the NASA, Mr. Daniel Asuku has waded into the riot and questioned the credibility of the police in doing such.
The safety advocate seem to sense some level of foul play on the part of the police officers deployed to ensure calm within the school community hence their dislike for anyone to file a report.
As part of its operations, NASA has always championed the course for media safety and called the bluff of uniformed personnel's maltreatment among others.
This time around, the safety advocate was sharing knowledge on floods and how they continue to swallow Ghanaian cities with Takoradi base Unity FM when he punched a hole into the police demeanor at that Islamic school in Kumasi.
