The National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) have expressed keen interest in the murder of Leticia Pinamang Kyere and want to know the outcome of the findings.

The National Union of Ghana Students (NUG) has expressed keen interest in the alleged suicide of the JHS 3 student, Leticia Pinamang Kyere who was reported to have committed suicide at the Miracle preparatory School on Monday, May 17, 2021.

President of the NUGS, Yiadom told Soiree news that the union will do everything within its power to ensure justice is served to both parties involved in the case.

NUGS visit deceased family

The Family of Leticia has since accused the School of trying to cover up what they suspect to have been a murder and not a suicide.

The executives of the Union on Thursday visited the bereaved family and the school to sort out information concerning the issue and how they can assist in the investigation process.

The Union’s president however indicated that they are visiting the Family, the school and the Police to have firsthand information as to what really caused the demise of the teenager.

NUGS members being welcome

Speaking in an interview with Soiree News after the visit, President for the Union, Yiadom Boakye said, as a union, they stand for the interest of every student as they look forward to taking a keen interest in the investigation process.

NUGS presented cartons of assorted drinks and bottled mineral water to the family.
