The Nsawam Adoagyiri MP, Frank Annoh-Dompreh has apologized for his #FixYourself comment, he made on twitter, in regards to the trending #FixTheCountry campaign.

The Majority Chief Whip in Parliament had in a tweet advised Ghanaians to fix themselves first before calling on government to fix the country.

His post did not go down well with most Twitter users as they believe it was insensitive to their demands.

But, reacting to the backlash, Mr Annoh-Dompreh apologized for his earlier tweet, and said said his comment “failed to convey both seriousness of the times and to capture the essence of what the youth is demanding.”

He stated that “collective action and responsibility are important” and believes that “ultimate responsibility lies with the hierarchy of government.”
