Amansie Central: Man 64, kills wife over attempted divorce.

The Jacobu police command has arrested a 64 -year-old Kwaku Obeng known as Joseph Money for killing his 44-year-old wife Sophia Akosua Boahemaa at Anyimi, a community in the Amansie Central District.

Information gathered indicates that an attempted divorce comment by the deceased sparked an argument between the two, leading to the husband shooting the wife on the neck leading to her instant demise in the late hours of Thursday.

Speaking to Superintendent Iddrisu Abdulai, the Jacobu police commander he confirmed the arrest of the suspect Joseph Money to Media.

He disclosed that the deceased body has been deposited at the St peters hospital at Jacobu pending autopsy while the suspect is in the police custody assisting investigations.

He pleaded for assistance from the public as well as the government to assist police combat crime-related issues in the district.
