Alleged Chop Bar Operator Arrested Over Stolen Goats at Nkurakan.

The accused Mary Yeboah who was caught in goats business has been handed over to the Police for further investigation. The suspected people were handed over to Nkurakan Police immediately they were transferred to the Koforidua Central Police Commander for further  investigation and prosecution.

Alleged Chop Bar Operator Arrested Over Stolen Goats at Nkurakan.

The Nkurakan Police have arrested 37-year-old Mary Yeboah, a local chop bar operator with the name (sweet at Home) chop bar at Nkurakan in the Yilo Krobo Municipality of the Eastern Region.

The accused Mary Yeboah who was caught in goats'' business has been handed over to the Police for further investigation. The suspected people were handed over to Nkurakan Police immediately they were transferred to the Koforidua Central Police Commander for further  investigation and prosecution.

The accused goat thieves after the arrest were paraded around the town with their stolen goats.

The woman who operates the local chop bar operator was humiliated and despised as the community members marched her through the streets of Nkurakan to her shame. The suspects were later compelled by the community to carry the dead goats on their heads to move around the streets of the town.

The Dademankye, Joffrey Obenu Wowolo, and the residents who manage to arrest the woman allegedly agreed to buy some of the stolen goats to prepare local dishes at Nkurakan out of which she was arrested.

According to the citizens, they have been very enraged by the high rate of theft and crimes at Nkurakan and are appealing to the Police Commander in Eastern Region to deploy more men to Nkurakan to enhance peace and security in the area.
