The parliamentary candidate hopeful of the Akwatia Constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Eastern Region, Mr Erasmus Ali Koney, has outlined his political strategic plans in a twelve bulleting points that he intends to accomplish when voted to become the parliamentary candidate for the NDC National in the area.
The Akwatia Darling Boy has promised to serve with a clear direction, focused mission and an innovative bottom to top management approach when given the node to win the race and subsequently lead the the party to retain the seat in the 2024 showdown.
He stated that he will develop a strategic plan to re-energise and mobilise the grassroots to help the party retain the Akwatia constituency parliamentary seat when given the node.
He said a number of party faithful and grassroots members who had toiled for the NDC over the years had either silently left or resigned from the party because they felt neglected.
That, he said, calls for fresh ideas and new faces to bring all disgruntled members back to the party to work for victory in the 2024 general elections.
In an interview with the Soireenews.com on his ambitions to become the parliamentary candidate of the party and subsequently to become the MP of the area, Mr Money, who is popularly known as ASANKA Musah, maintained that the grassroots had been left behind for far too long.
He noted that without the grassroots, the party could not win power because they were the kingmakers.
Outlining his 12 point plan for the NDC when elected as the parliamentary candidate and MP, Mr Koney indicated that he had offered himself for the position to lead in galvanising the grassroots to re-build a stronger party to consolidate the successes chalked up by the government.
"When given the nod, I would develop a political strategic plans to set up effective education fund to assist comrades who seek for higher education. I am going to work hard to develop talent and Skills development for youth in various vocational trades. I would design a plan to ensure the development of the health and welfare scheme for members of the NDC in the area. Health is wealth!," Mr Koney assured.
According to Mr Koney, he has a technical know how to lobby for slots in all the security sectors such as GAF, GPS, GIS,GPS for the unemployed teeming youths in Akwatia.
Additionally, the NDC Akwatia constituency parliamentary hopeful stressed that he will secure the E- Party cards for all branch executives of the NDC in the area free of charge. 
"I am going to ensure the building of political bridges to forestall peace and unity into 2024 general elections as well as develop a plan to ensure the securing of the soft loans for business owners among the party folks," he further assured the NDC faithfuls.
He stressed that he has what it take to ensure that the securing of the seed money for all wards for their welfare scheme. 
When given the nod, Mr Koney maintained that he will lent support of Agribusiness for those interested in farming, adding that he would work to improve the agricultural value chain in the area.

He added that he would also institute an award scheme to recognise the hard work and contributions of party members and volunteers.
Mr Koney noted the response and support of the grassroots to his ideas had been massive and was confident of victory.
According to him,“I have visited and interacted with a larger section of our party people and they are all buying into my brilliant ideas and plans for the NDC.
He stated that he is very confident that the delegates and members of the NDC I'm the area will give him the nod to lead the party as the Akwatia constituency parliamentary candidate.
Mr Koney, therefore, called on the rank and file of the party to critically examine his plans and repose their confidence in him for a new face of leadership.
