I Will Win Gomoa West Seat For NPP In 2024 Polls To Eradicate Poverty Of The People--Bismark Baisie Nkum Assures
The DCE urged the delegates of the Gomoa West Constituency to give him the chance to represent them in parliament as he is the only one who can develop the constituency.

District Chief Executive (DCE) for Gomoa West District of the Central Region Mr Bismark Baisie Nkum, has publicly declared his intention to contest the Gomoa West parliamentary candidate race on the ticket of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Following this announcement, Mr Nkum assured to win the NPP parliamentary candidate primaries and subsequently lead the party to win Gomoa West constituency parliamentary seat from the incumbent National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament (MP) for the area, Honourable Richard Gyan-Mensah in the 2024 general elections.
The DCE urged the delegates of the Gomoa West Constituency to give him the chance to represent them in parliament as he is the only one who can develop the constituency.
He indicated that when given the node to serve as the MP for the constituency they would be no more experience poverty, saying "if I become your leader I will eradicate poverty during my time".
He revealed that he has already doing the work as his vision is to lobby and bring jobs to the district especially the youth and also to make education in the district very attractive.
He added that when it comes to the issues of the education performance of the students in the district it form just about 32% of students passed well in their entrance examination, but when he resumed power as the DCE about 70% of the students passed their entrance examinations.
Mr Baisie Nkum made the remarks when a group within NPP comprised of polling station executives, some opinion leaders, former constituency executives, some chiefs among others picked up the parliamentary nomination forms for him to contest the Gomoa West NPP parliamentary primaries at the party's office.
The DCE thanked the executives for the endorsement and promised to fight for the good people of Gomoa West to bring victory to the NPP comes 2024.
He appealed to all supporters to rally behind him to work together for the victory of the party in Gomoa West.
On his part,, the Gomoa West constituency polling station Chairman of the NPP, Mr Kojo Anderson stated that they believe Mr Baisie Nkum is the solid person to lead the NPP in Gomoa West as their member of parliament.
This, he stressed is because they believe Mr Baisie Nkum can do the work as he has done it before and that, they will used their resources, energy, knowledge and strength to support him to win the seat for the NPP.
