Ahafo: Hunter Shoots Himself Dead Over Divorce AT  Mereku

A 42-Year-Old Hunter, Kwadwo Ayaaba has shot himself dead over what neighbors say is because of divorce from his wife.

Kwadwo Ayaaba married his wife and they were blessed with three children but they got divorced about two years ago after a misunderstanding.

According to residents, the deceased has not been of himself after the divorce which they suspect led to his shooting of himself.

The incident happened at Kwame Menkrom at Ayomso Mereku in the Asunafo North Municipal of Ahafo Region early hours of  March 3, 2022.

His body has been deposited at the Goaso Government Hospital Mortuary awaiting autopsy.

The Goaso District Police Commander, DSP Danso Abeam who confirmed the incident said Kwadwo Ayaaba shot himself 50 meters away from his cottage with his single barrel gun on his chest.
