An Accra Hearts of Oak player, Mr. Obeng Kwadwo Junior, whose mother's side comes from Yaakrom in Dormaa West District of the Bono Region has visited the members of the Yaakrom Royal family on Monday, March 14, 2022.
The visit of the Accra Hearts of Oak striker
was aimed at consoling the members of the Yaakrom Royal family about the death of one of his grandfathers, Mr. Edward Barimah.
In his remark, Mr. Kwadwo Junior congratulated the family for the peaceful organization of the one-week funeral observation of the late Edward Barimah.
The footballer pleaded with the members of the family to play for him to take his football career to the highest level.
Speaking in an interview with Soireenew.com, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Dormaa West District Assembly, Mr. Francis K.Oppong, who is also a member of the Yaakrom Royal family said the family agreed to pray for God's protection for the footballer to achieve his dream to become of the leading football icons in this country.
The DCE also admonished the young footballer to be disciplined in the way of performing his footballing activities.
