A two-year-old Stephen Baidoo, who was part of children being transported in a tricycle, known by many Ghanaians as Aboboyaa has since not been found after two weeks on.

The parents of the child, Kwadwo Wiredu and Victoria Baidoo stay in Osino Zongo and according to them, two weeks ago, the suspect Evans Paddy, 21, who lives in the same house with them took their child and other children into a tricycle without their knowledge and permission and drove them away.

According to them, after a few minutes, they were informed that they have been involved in an accident in which the tricycle allegedly fell into the Birim River but the rider managed to rescue the children except for their child.

Several searches made in the Birim river have proved futile. The river priest (Birim Komfuo) was brought from Kyebi to perform rituals as part of the search but to no avail.

A report was made to the Police and the suspect was subsequently arrested.

He has been arraigned before court and granted bail with a surety to appear.

The family is demanding justice for their lost child.
