Six armed robbers have been apprehended, while five others have been killed

According to a Twitter post made by the Ghana Police Service, six-armed robbers have been arrested whiles five of them have been shot dead.

According to the police report they were shot in a gun battle with the police.

The statement reads ;

''In the last 48 hours, a series of exceptional anti-robbery intelligence-led operations have been carried out around the country. 

Six robbery suspects were apprehended during the operation, and five others were murdered in a gun battle with the police. 
Simultaneously, operations in the Northern and Western North Regions are underway."
