Yaw Tog has killed the news of his beef with the Asakaa boys.

The Asakaa boys, who were a prominent force in the release of his "Sore" track in September 2020, were nowhere to be found on the "Sore" remix track with a Stormzy and Kwesi Arthur.

This sparked rumours that the rising star was at loggerheads with the Asakaa boys; O’Kenneth, City Boy, ReGGie, and Jay Bhad.

“I didn’t sign their record label deal and it came out from them since I didn’t sign their deal they can’t work with me again and things started from deleting of my verses and stuff they did together,” reads a tweet by Tog.

"I think I need to clear this am not beefing anyone in this music thing yeah I did a song with the Asakaa boys and it was for love thing and support and fine I can’t ignore the Asakaa boys in my storytelling cause they part of my success story. #SoreRemix"

"Buh I appreciate them they part of my success story."

The artiste admitted that he understands the gravity of his collaboration with Stormzy on his "Sore" remix track.

Stormzy and Yaw Tog had both performed on stage at the UPP Festival for a performance back on the 1st of January, 2021.

They shortly announced that they would be coming together for Yaw Tog's "Sore" remix.

The 2020 Brit Award for British Male Solo Artist winner travelled to Kumasi, alongside Kwesi Arthur to shoot visuals for the remix of ‘Sore.‘

“It was a big deal for me. Even now, I can’t express how I feel about it,”

“For the pedigree of who Stormzy is and everything he has done, it’s a great feeling for sure, and it’s always loved for Stormzy from me,” he said.
