Ghanaian artiste, Maa Adwoa, has advised her female colleagues to have faith in their respective talents instead of trying to use nudity and profanity to gain more success.

The 'Fine Boy' hitmaker highlighted the negative effects of using such actions to gain popularity, noting that apart from not helping the artiste in the long run, it does not pass the right messages about the music industry across to the fans.

"Some of the up and coming female artistes want to use nudity and profanity to blow and it’s not really helping. They should value and respect music genuinely. Most of them are not known for their talent but rather something that is far from music.” she said, while speaking in an exclusive interview.

She used the opportunity of the interview to shed more light on the origins of her debut single. According to her, the single ' Fine Boy' was inspired by her last break up.

"Well, I had my inspiration from my last break up when I could easily relate to a chorus my producer made, so I poured my heart out and made the song.”

"Our music industry can't be compared to other country's... but it's getting better... proud to say that most Ghanaian music is being recognized worldwide, so it's getting better with time... and I'm definitely going be part of the success stories of Ghana music industry.” She revealed.

She noted however that she has been writing songs for artists long before she decided to release her single, so she's well aware of how the industry works for those who may want to point out that she has no experience in the entertainment sector.

"I am not the ordinary profane kind of Artist. I have a passion for music and I decided it was time I let the world know what I’m capable of.” She concluded.
