Woman Arrested For Killing Husband With Hot Water And Salt

The greater regional Police Command has reportedly arrested a woman who intentionally killed her husband in Accra. After confessing to the crime, officers of the Ghana Police Service are still in shock with her reason.

According to reports given by one popular Islamic scholar Awal Mohammed, the woman deliberately killed her husband because he refused to divorce her.

The woman whose identity was hidden for security and Police inquiry's sake committed the wicked act with salt and hot water.

Explaining the circumstances on Facebook, the woman consistently demanded a divorce from her husband. She reportedly wanted the husband to make the move so that she can get benefits. This is because, If a man moves for a divorce, he is supposed to compensate you.

After all, the attempts she pushed, the man failed her and decided to kill him. She boiled water and added a lot of salt. While the man was sleeping, the woman poured the hot water on him.

The man reportedly rushed himself to the Mamobi government hospital where he was told that it was beyond them so he should go to Korle-Bu.

The man ignored their referral and went back home. Upon seeing him, the wicked wife fought the injured man and told him that he is lucky because she wanted to boil him to death.

The man reportedly refused to tell anybody about his torment for fear of seeing his wife in jail. This is because they have two handsome boys and a girl together. Yesterday, death dawned on him. He called a close relative and explained everything to him. He died immediately after the sad narration and begged his relative to take care of his children.

A case was made to the police and the wife was arrested by the Accra Police pending trial. The man has since been buried under Islamic rites. He was a Mallam at the Adabiya Islamic school in Accra New Town.

May his soul rest in peace.
