Willian could leave the Arsenal with reports that the former Chelsea midfielder is not a happy man in his new club.

Willian signed for the Gunners on a transfer in the summer after failing to renew his contract with the Blues following Lampard’s £250m player acquisition.

Having earlier confessed that he joined the Gunners to win the title and having already acquired the Community Shield before the start of the season, the Brazilian has not lived up to expectation with the entire Gunners squad. He has so provided three assists and scored no goal in 10 Premier League appearances.

"[I like] the way they play, everything is amazing - the stadium, and I think that with Arteta, Arsenal have a great opportunity to fight again for titles in the Premier League and in Europe so I'm very happy because of that," Willian told Arsenal Digital after his new contract.

"I'm excited to start. I can't wait to go on the pitch and do my thing to help my team-mates and to help this club to shine again. That's what I want.

TalkSPORTS reports that Betis are keen on the winger as they seek a replacement for Joaquin with a 'significant financial effort' reportedly going to be made by the LaLiga club to sign Willian next summer.

Arsenal are seven points behind relegation zone on the Premier League and Arteta is under pressure to start putting games to bed.
