PL releases fixtures for the first three-match rounds
Watford's 3-0 win over Liverpool was the biggest margin of defeat for a league leader since November 2015 when Liverpool beat Man City 4-1

The Premier League has released fixtures for the first three-match rounds on Friday, June 5, 2020.

Shareholders of the English League voted for the recommencement of the season.

June 17 was the confirmed date "if all safety measures are in place."

Postponed matches between Aston Villa v Sheffield United and Man City v Arsenal will be played before the full round of Matchday 30 games will be honored.

“The Premier League today confirmed the fixture schedule for the first three-match rounds of the resumed 2019/20 season if all safety requirements are in place,” the statement said.

Norwich City will kick off on Friday against Southampton whiles Spurs welcome Man United in a late kickoff.

The Merseyside Derby is part of the opening fixtures and the showdown will happen on Sunday.

“All matches will be played behind closed doors. All times are BST,” it added.
