From L-R: John Dumelo, Van Vicker.

Van Vicker has once again shown support for his long time colleague, John Dumelo.

The actor sent words of comfort to John Dumelo to console him for his recent loss at the Ayawaso West Wuogon MP seat.

This seat was clinched once again by Lydia Alhassan who won her re-election bid to represent the people of Ayawaso West Wuogon in the next parliament.

"@johndumelo1 your performance in the 2020 elections was phenomenal. You were a formidable opponent. Congrats my broda. Better luck next time. You remain our honourable. #operationsupport#vanvicker #theyounggodfath" he wrote on his social media page.

Before the election, Van Vicker had shown solidarity by hitting out Shirley Ayorkor-Botchway for saying that parliament is for serious people and not for actors.

The Minister for Foreign Affairs in an attempt to discredit actor, John Dumelo, in his quest to become the Member of Parliament, suggested that politics is serious business and not a joke.

Van Vicker maintained that politics involves making decisions to affect lives and the Creative Arts Industry plays a major role in keeping people entertained and soothed.

He then concluded that actors, actresses and musicians to mention a few were serious people and that Shirley’s statement was unfortunate.
